Supporting patients with behaviour change innovations
On Tuesday, the Da Nang General Hospital signed a commitment to make innovations in the behaviour of its medical staff in order to improve patient satisfaction with the healthcare service.
The hospital’s director, Mr Tran Ngoc Thanh, has been selected to head the steering committee which will initiate the changes.
The hospital is introducing a number of measures to ensure the successful implementation of the commitment. In particular, the focus will be on providing training courses for the hospital’s medical staff to enhance their communication skills with their patients, and on setting up a system to receive feedback and comments from patients.
Also, the hospital’s hotlines are being maintained whilst a project entitled ‘Giving Strength to Patients’ will be soon implemented.
