Anh is the daughter of physical education teacher Le Hai Son from the Ong Ich Khiem Senior High School. She is suffering from malignant kidney and blood cancers. She is therefore in desperate need of financial assistance to cover the cost of her medical treatment.
The little girl is receiving treatment at the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion Haematology Hospital. The total cost for her 2-year-long treatment regimen at the hospital is over 500 million VND, and she has a 70% chance of survival.
She has a health insurance card, but the health insurance fund will only pay 10% of her total treatment costs.
Anh’s family is now in extremely difficult circumstances, and the child is still in need of more financial assistance for her treatment.
Donations can be sent to the Da Nang Newspaper, 42 Tran Phu Street, Da Nang (Phone: 0511 3812341 or 0905832222).
