The conference was attended by over 100 students from universities in ASEAN member countries.
The event was a small-scale version of the ASEAN Student Forum, presenting opportunities for the participants to discuss regional issues of education, employment and to share experience in studying and researching activities.
In the framework of the conference, several exhibitions were organised, introducing international training and internship exchanges.
Participants also gained an insight into the operation of the Passage to ASEAN (P2A), which the Duy Tan University is one of the co-founders.
Created in June 2012, the P2A has now grouped 60 universities in ASEAN, aiming at enhancing understanding on regional integration among ASEAN students. ASEAN, which was established in 1967, includes 10 members, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
