Da Nang’s Dong A University (DAU) recently entered into a training cooperation agreement with business members from the municipal Hotels' Association.

The intention is to enhance the quality of training programmes in the tourism sector at DAU, and ensure an adequate supply of qualified employees for hotels, resorts and travel agencies across Da Nang, and elsewhere in the central region.

Under the agreement, each of the businesses will offer internship opportunities to at least 20 students from DAU each year.  In addition, the heads of the hotels’ departments will provide professional practice courses for the students either at DAU or at their hotel. 

Most notably, top priority will be given to recruiting around 20 - 30 students every year from DAU after they have finished their internship courses at these establishments.
