Recently, Da Nang has seen a significant increase in the number of tourism projects on the western side of the city.  Some projects have already been completed and are in operation, whilst others will be put into use very soon.

For example, the Ba Na Hills Golf Club officially opened for play in March.  Developed by Sun Group, it is situated at the foot of the Ba Na Hills.  The 1st phase of the 165ha project was the now completed 18-hole international-standard golf course and clubhouse, and the 2nd phase is expected to be completed by late 2018.

The Director of Sun Group, Mr Dang Minh Truong, remarked that the newly-created venue will become one of the city’s popular tourist attractions, and will help to attract more international visitors, especially high-end ones, to the city.

Another new and impressive tourist attraction in the city is the Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park.  Nestled in the Ba Na–Nui Chua Nature Reserve in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Phu Commune, the park officially opened to the public in April with the aim of diversifying the seaside city’s range of tourism products.

Developed by the DHC company, the 52ha park features outdoor and indoor hot spring bathing areas, a 4-star restaurant and hotel complex, an entertainment area for children, spiritual tourism areas, and other outdoor amusement areas.

In addition, the new 200ha botanical park in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Phong Commune has drawn a great deal of attention from both domestic and foreign investors.  Also, tourism projects near the Dong Nghe Lake in the district’s Hoa Khuong Commune, and along the Cu De river in Hoa Bac Commune, are underway.
