One of the beneficiaries was the family of 71-year-old Nguyen Van Tam from Son Tra District’s Man Thai Ward.  Mr Tam emotionally thanked the city leader and the local authorities for their great care given to his family, especially to his newborn baby granddaughter Nguyen Ho Quynh Anh.

Mrs Le Thi Thanh Xuan from Son Tra District’s An Hai Tay Ward could not hide her emotions as she welcomed the city leader into her home.  Mrs Xuan said, “My daughter Nguyen Thi Thao and her husband Phan Dinh Hoa are both disabled, and they are too busy to earn a living day by day.  Over the past month, I have been very worried about how to complete the necessary procedures to get the documents for my newborn baby granddaughter Phan Bao Ngan”.

Mrs Xuan added, “From the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank the city authorities for such a meaningful service”.

Chairman Tho remarked, “The new service is one of the city’s great efforts to accelerate its administrative reforms more effectively for the benefit of citizens.  It also reflects the sense of responsibility the local authorities are showing to local newborn babies.  Staff members from local relevant agencies should make every effort to avoid any delays in handling administrative procedures for local residents”.
