One extra train will be operated each day between Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi, passing through Da Nang, which will provide an extra service to/from Da Nang in both north and southbound directions.

The number of train tickets on the routes will be increased to 45,000 over Tet.

On 1 October, Viet Nam Railways started selling train tickets for Tet.  Passengers can book their train tickets via telephone, in person directly from stations nationwide, or on the following websites: www.dsvn.vn,  http://www.vr.com.vn/ and www.vetau.com.vn.

Those travelling with children aged from 6 to 10 should request a seat-sharing ticket by filling out a form provided at the stations. This enables children to use the same seat as an accompanying adult passenger.
