On Wednesday, Certificates of Merit from the Da Nang Department of Tourism were given to the city-based Viet Nam Travelmart company and 43 local 3 to 5-star hotels which were chosen to accommodate over 5,000 international athletes and coaches during the recent 5^th Asia Beach Games (ABG5).

In particular, the Viet Nam Travelmart company was honoured for its great efforts in providing excellent services during ABG5. 

The 43 hotels had all successfully provided for their international ABG5 guests during their 14-day-long stay in the city.  They had paid special attention to upgrading their facilities, installing modern equipment, and buying suitable cooking utensils to ensure the best possible accommodation and food services.  Therefore, these hotels had more than adequately satisfied their guests, who had come from many countries with different cultures, religions, eating habits, and customs.

ABG5 gave local hotels the opportunity to gain more experience in serving international guests.  This will, in turn, help them to improve the quality of their services in order to meet the increasing demands of visitors to the city.
