On Thursday, approval was given by Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Dang Viet Dung to set up a Food Quality Management and Control Board.

The newly-established Board will take responsibility for checking the origin and quality of food before it is sold in local markets.  It will have full operational functions, duties, powers and funds. 

The Board will run on a trial basis from early December, and it will be fully operational from 1 January 2017.
