On Thursday, a group from the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) and the municipal Relief Committee, led by Da Nang FFC Vice Chairman Tran Van Du, donated a total of 700 million VND to representatives from the FFCs in the provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, and Binh Dinh.

The FFCs in Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces were each given 200 million VND, whilst the remaining 300 million VND was donated to Binh Dinh.

The donations are intended for the victims of the recent storm in these localities, to help them overcome their difficulties and re-establish normality in their lives as soon as possible.

Vice Chairman Du expressed his sympathy about the losses caused by the recent storm in these areas.  He remarked that the Da Nang authorities and residents have organised numerous charitable programmes to appeal for donations to help these storm victims.

In reply, the FFC representatives thanked the Da Nang FFC and Relief Committee for the support given to them.
