The Da Nang Department of Police recently proposed that the municipal authorities should impose a fine of 20 million VND on 49-year-old Chinese visitor Chen Shaopao for conducting improper trading activities in the city.

According to the department’s Entry and Exit Management Office, Shaopao had entered Viet Nam 17 times on tourist visas.  During his stay in Da Nang, he participated in illegal gambling activities and sold fake iPhone6S Plus devices to local residents, especially at the city’s inter-provincial coach station, and at hotels across the city.

The Chinese man has now been expelled from the country.
