Architect Jimmy Tsen Chee Nam, the Director of Cpg Viet Nam, said that he and the other contestants wanted to make Da Nang a special and typical city of the world in the future.  The city will boast its own special characteristics and meet international standards, with the Han River being an important landmark.

Architect Do Nguyen Dung, one of the developers of the ‘Netsong’ project, noted that the city authorities and the local residents have made great efforts to portray Da Nang as very different from other Vietnamese localities.  This had inspired him and his teammates to turn their design ideas into reality.

Architect Phan Quoc Dung from Landscape Jardins Asia remarked that Da Nang is his beloved hometown.  He, therefore, would like to make a greater contribution to promoting an urban transformation in the city, with modernisation in combination with enhancing the preservation of the city’s traditional cultural values.
