Training conference on journalistic skills
A training conference entitled ‘Journalistic Skills for Large-scale Events held during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Viet Nam 2017 programme’, took place in Da Nang yesterday and today.
Co-organised by the Vietnamese ministries of Information and Communications, and Foreign Affairs, the 2-day event was attended by editors and reporters from local and national media agencies.
The participants were introduced to an overview of APEC, and some of Viet Nam’s important issues which will be given top priority to further their development during the APEC Viet Nam 2017 programme. In addition, journalistic skills necessary for large-scale events held during the programme were presented at the event.
Themed ‘Creating New Dynamism, Fostering a Shared Future’, the APEC Viet Nam 2017 programme will officially begin in Ha Noi on 8 December 2016. Within the framework of this large-scale international event, the 25th APEC Summit will take place in Da Nang next November.
