Seven days off work for Tet holiday

The Da Nang People’s Committee has announced that employees of local agencies and departments, as well as those of political and social organisations, will officially have 7 days off work (26 January to 1 February) for Lunar New Year 2017.

Local agencies, organisations, businesses and family homes, as well as vessels anchored in the Han River, are all required to fly national flags from 27 - 30 January.
The heads of local agencies have been urged to arrange for some of their employees to remain on duty over the period, as well as to ensure security and order.
