Despite their low salaries, the staff of the orphanage treat the children as if they were members of their own families. They always show their great love for the children and ensure the best care for them, even though at times they face difficulties in taking care of the disabled and newborn babies.
In attempting to ensure the best for the children, financial aid and spiritual encouragement has been given to the centre by generous international and domestic individuals and organisations over recent years. Most notably, many kind-hearted foreigners from such countries as Australia, Germany and Denmark have visited the centre and spent time playing with the children.
Master of Medicine Mai Huu Phuoc, from Ngu Hanh Son District’s My An Ward, is amongst the centre’s volunteers. He provides free medical examinations for the children once or twice each week.
The kind physican remarked, “Almost every time I visit the children, I am deeply touched by their intense desire to be loved and nurtured. I often take photos on my mobile phone and show them to the children, and this makes them very happy. I think that our lives would be more beautiful if all the world’s children could receive great love and intensive care from their parents”.
