Over recent years, Da Nang’s Son Tra Peninsula has become increasingly attractive to domestic and foreign visitors thanks to its stunning natural scenery and the beauty of red-shanked douc langurs living here.

Currently, there are 2 roads leading to the peninsula.  One links to the Linh Ung Pagoda whilst the other connects with the Ho Sau (Deep Hole) area.

However, in recent days, small landsides have occurred alongside some sections of the concrete road leading to the Ho Sau area due to the unfavourable weather.  Therefore, a volume of soil and stones are currently blocking some drainage systems along the route.  To make the problem worse, the road is now facing a high risk of quantities of rocks falling freely from the existing cracked cliffs, which may cause danger for road users.

According to Mr Vo Dinh Cong, the Chairman of the Tho Quang Ward People’s Committee, warning signs will be placed at the landside points alongside the road as soon as possible in order to avoid any unexpected incidents.
