On Monday, the University of Da Nang (UDN) launched its 2017 summer volunteer campaign entitled ‘The Youth from the University of Da Nang Join Efforts to Upgrade Rural Areas and to Build Civilised Urban Areas’.

The 2-month-long campaign will attract a total of 700 students who will become involved in various charitable and social activities in Da Nang and the provinces of Quang Nam and Kon Tum.

During the period, the focus will be on repairing houses of local social policy families and refurbishing local martyrs' cemeteries, upgrading rural roads, and dredging canals.  In addition, the students will provide summer training courses for local school pupils, help young people in rural areas to develop economic development models, and take part in various social activities.
