Beware of fake tickets for DIFF's grand finale
Tickets are now available to watch the grand finale of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2017 from the viewing stands. This final night of DIFF 2017 is on Saturday 24 June, and it will feature fireworks displays by the teams judged to have been the best of the 8 participants - the UK, Australia and Italy.

However, it is reported that many fake tickets are being offered for sale at prices much lower than the authentic ones. Spectators will be turned away from the event if they are found to be holding forged tickets. It is therefore highly recommended that people buy genuine tickets directly from the locations listed here: http://baodanang.vn/english/society/201704/how-much-do-diff-tickets-cost-and-where-can-you-buy-them-2549192/.
According to the DIFF organisers, buyers should be able to distinguish the differences between counterfeit tickets and authentic ones by inspecting closely. It is common to spot that up to 3 fraudulent tickets can bear the same serial number, and the printing of the serial numbers is often smudged or faded. Also, the names of the viewing stands printed on the fake ones are usually wrong, for example: ‘B2.1’, ‘B3.1’, ‘B4.1’ or ‘B4.2’, whilst the genuine ones feature the 7 correct stand designations: A, B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 and B6. Also, the perforations on fake tickets’ tear-away stubs are not strong.
