The events marked an important milestone in constructing the transport infrastructure on a ring road on the southern side of the city, which links Hoa Phuoc commune with Hoa Khuong commune.
Once completed, the Song Yen Bridge will be 28m in width and 213m in length, whilst the 28m-wide, 134.5m-long Qua Giang Bridge will allow vehicles to travel at the speed limit at 70km/h.
The two bridges will cost a total of 170 billion VND, and both of them are expected to be competed on 31 October.
Recently, approval has been given by the Da Nang People’s Committee to spend over 1,514 billion VND on upgrading Vo Duy Ninh in Son Tra District.
In detail, around 14.4 billion VND will be used to build transport infrastructure, plant trees, and install water and power supply systems. Meanwhile, the remainder will be spent on constructing a section of a ring road on the western side of the city which connects the 14B Highway with Ho Chi Minh street in Hoa Vang District.
