Da Nang People’s Committee has given the go-ahead for the implementation of a traffic improvement project at the intersection of Nguyen Huu Tho, Le Dai Hanh and Trinh Dinh Thao streets in Cam Le District.

Work will start on the 9.5 billion VND project before the end of this year, and it will be completed by the end of next year.

The project aims to improve traffic safety for road users, ease traffic congestion during peak hours, and reduce the number of traffic accidents.  The work should improve the junction’s synchronisation with the city’s existing traffic network.

The work will facilitate road users to make direct right and left-turns or go straight ahead.  Also, 3-phase traffic lights will be installed to control the traffic flows, and all the necessary traffic signs and painted lines will be in accordance with the national technical regulations.
