The Da Nang People’s Committee has given the go-ahead for the Ha Noi-based Thanh Do Investment Development and Construction company, the developer of the Empire Residences and Resort project, to build a pedestrian underpass beneath the coastal Truong Sa road in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Hoa Hai Ward.

In the middle of last year, a pedestrian underpass beneath Vo Nguyen Giap, outside the Holiday Beach Danang Hotel, was brought into use.  Developed by the hotel, the 100m-long tunnel not only creates a safe pedestrian walkway from the hotel under the road to the beach, but it also provides a free-of-charge entertainment space for children.
