Published: July 11, 2017

Since its launch one month ago, the ‘Day of Love’ programme has attracted the voluntary participation of thousands of pupils from primary to senior high schools across Da Nang.

To date, over 20,000 notebooks, more than 25,000 textbooks, 4,000 pens, over 1,500 sets of learning tools, nearly 1,000 teddy bears, 3,000 children toys, 650 cartons of instant noodles, and hundreds of cartons of warm clothes, blankets and mats, have been donated by local pupils.

All the donated gifts will be presented to children living in the local SOS Children’s Village, poor pupils at some schools in Hoa Vang District, and ethnic minority pupils in Quang Nam Province’s Tay Giang and Nam Tra My districts.
