The city’s fire-fighting police force said on Thursday that the pilot, Nguyen Hai Anh, 35, from Ha Noi, landed in the forest on Wednesday evening during a training flight.
The police said the pilot was forced to land due to bad weather in the area.
Local residents called the police for help and a team was sent to rescue the pilot.
The team found the pilot in good health around 9.45pm on Wednesday.
The forest near the Phuoc Tuong Mountain and Son Tra Mountain are 2 popular sites for paragliders to train and compete.
