Built in 1740, the house provided a secret shelter for revolutionary cadres in the resistance wars against the French and the Americans. Inside it has a display of 3 documents from the emperors Canh Hung, Thien Tri and Tu Duc, and the ceremonial dress of the head of Thanh Khe Village in 1852.
The Thanh Khe Communal House was officially recognised as a municipal-level historical relic site in 2008.
