According to this website, the venue where winners will receive their prizes is on the 9th floor of the Petrolimex Da Nang building at 122 of 2 September Street in Hai Chau District.

The victim said that she was offered a code by the Facebook Messenger app on her cell-phone to participate in the prize winning programme at the website mentioned above.  Having entered the code, it was announced that she had won a Honda SH 125i valued at 81 million VND, and a gift voucher worth 100 million VND.  The ‘winner’ was required to send prepaid mobile phone cards, totalling about 20 million VND, to the website operators as a fee for receiving the prize.  She complied with that request.  However, when the woman eagerly went to the building to receive the prize, employees on the company’s 9th floor had no knowledge of this website.

Over recent months, many fraudsters have been sending the links of fraudulent prize winning programmes to hundreds of Facebook accounts, announcing that their owners had won high value prizes including Honda SH 125i and Air Blade motorbikes and iPhone6 devices.  Then, the offenders try to get the personal information and phone numbers of the victims, and convince them to send prepaid mobile phone cards as a fee for receiving the prizes.

As reported at http://baodanang.vn/english/society/201705/urgent-investigation-needed-into-fraudulent-prize-winning-programme-2555066, a reader from Ca Mau Province reported to a journalist from the DA NANG Newspaper about the allegedly fraudulent prize winning programme at www.traophanqua2017.com  In particular, the venue where the winners were to receive their prizes is on the 6th floor of the same building.

Our newspaper is now urging relevant local agencies to conduct an investigation, as soon as possible, into these frauds, thereby preventing more Facebook users from falling victim to such scams.
