On Thursday, a 15kg reticulated python (Python reticulatus) and a 4kg rock python (Python molurus) were released back into a green space on Da Nang’s Son Tra Peninsula by the Lien Chieu District Forest Ranger Division.
Previously, the pythons had been captured from the house of an unidentified man in Lien Chieu District. Then, the man had been encouraged to hand over the animals to the Division in order to release them back into the wild.
