Four of the donated machines were given by Ms Nguyen Thi Ai Nhi whilst the other one was offered by Mr Nguyen Duy Bao.

Bedside monitors are extremely helpful in quickly identifying changes and complications in the health condition of patients, especially those who are at a high risk of mortality from high blood pressure, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases. These monitors can detect several different vital signs, showing them on the screen, and sounding the alarm to inform the medical workers if something may not be right.

According to the hospital’s Deputy Director, Doctor Nguyen Son, the donated machines will be provided for such newly-established departments in the hospital as Pediatric Digestion, Comprehensive Pediatrics, Emergency and Cardiovascular Intervention.
