Sick fishermen rescued off Hoang Sa Archipelago
Two seriously sick fishermen were recently rescued from the sea off the Hoang Sa (Paracels) Archipelago, 300 nautical miles off the Da Nang coast.

According to the Regional Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Centre No 2, the 2 fishermen, namelyHuynh Van Linh, 45, and Dang Ngoc Vu, 38, fell seriously ill while working at night on 2 different vessels in the Hoang Sa waters last Thursday.
Linh fell unconscious after a fall from a high level on boat Qna90974TS, while Vu suffered severe pain in his lower back on board Qna90099TS.
A team of doctors and rescue staff was called to board the 2 fishing boats and provide first aid to both victims.
Then, the 2 fishermen were safely taken to the Da Nang Port last Friday afternoon, and are being treated at the city’s General Hospital.
