The Da Nang General Hospital has saved a foreigner suffering multiple serious injuries from a traffic accident while travelling from Da Nang to Hoi An in its neighbouring Quang Nam Province.

Isabelle Garrett Peel, a 25-year-old British, was in a coma and severe conditions with multiple injuries in her chest, abdomen and head when she was hospitalised on 27 October.  Especially, doctors found she sustained a severe heart injury that threatened her life.

An urgent 2-hour surgery saved Peel’s life.  She is now recovering.
