City braces for wet and colder weather
The Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting says sea waters off the coast of central localities from Quang Binh to Quang Ngai, today (27 December), are experiencing northeastern winds of level 5 - 6, with gusts of level 7, and sea waves from 1.5m to 2.5m high.
This matter is due to the intensified cold front from the north.
In particular, sea waters off the coast of Da Nang are seeing scattered showers. Rough seas and waves from 2m to 3m high are being recorded in the Hoang Sa waters.
According to national forecasters, some parts of Da Nang are expected to continue to experience moderate rain over the next few days.
Frigid air is forecasted to settle into the city in early morning and late night.
Today and tomorrow (28 December), the city’s temperatures are hovering at only between 17 and 22 degrees Celsius, and the warmer weather is possible over the subsequent days.
