Organised annually by the prestigious French daily news website https://lepetitjournal.com/ since 2013, Trophées des Francais de l’étranger is awarded to French expatriates with successful projects or outstanding achievements abroad. The jury of the trophy includes leaders of major political, economic and media organisations in France.

Réhahn, who has interacted with nearly all Vietnamese ethnic minorities and has opened his private museum dedicated to their traditional costumes in Hoi An, got nominated for his Precious Heritage Project, which aims to capture images and document stories of different Vietnamese cultures, particularly those of the smallest ethnic groups left in the country.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Quai d’Orsay, Paris, in March.
