Ms Tran Le Tram has recently placed a wardrobe in front of her own house at 275 Le Dai Hanh in Da Nang’s Cam Le District with the aim of providing free clothes for those in need.

In particular, appeals have been made at Tram’s Facebook page to encourage her friends and other locals to donate their used clothes for the poor.  Thanks to this, a total of 40 bags of clothes for both children and adults have to date been sent to her address.

The donated clothes are very clean, and they are displayed tidily on a wooden wardrobe designed by Ms Tram.  The intention is to help the needy easier to find the suitable ones for themselves and their family members.

Mrs Que, a lottery ticket seller in Cam Le District, said “I have just visited Tram’s wardrobe to take a free long-sleeved shirt.  The shirt will help to shield my body from the sun's rays whilst I am selling tickets along local streets.  I also took the opportunity to choose a nice dress for my granddaughter for the upcoming Tet Festival”.

Ms Tram is now making greater efforts to encourage more needy people to choose suitable clothes from her wardrobe.

In Da Nang, similar wardrobes can be found at 35 Thai Phien in Hai Chau District, and 569 Ton Duc Thang in Lien Chieu District.
