Approval has been given by the Da Nang People’s Committee for activities at the Rong (Dragon) and Han River bridges over the Tet Festival, which begins on 16 February.

The dragon’s head at the eastern end of the Rong Bridge will breathe fire and squirt water at 9.00pm each day between 14 and 18 February. These days are the 29^th of the 12^th lunar month to the 3^rd of the 1^st lunar month.

The Han River Bridge will swing open from 11.00pm to midnight from 16-18 February.  These days are from the 1^st to the 3^rd of the 1^st lunar month.

In addition, the city authorities will also temporarily stop the granting of permits to any new local construction projects from 7-25 February.  During the period, all types of trucks carrying soil, stones, sand or construction materials will be temporarily banned from travelling on local streets.
