In addition, importance will be attached to asking permission from the municipal People’s Committee (PC) to spend 5 billion VND from the city’s allocation fund to install new screening equipment at the Le Do Cinema at 46 Tran Phu.
Also, heed will be paid to asking the municipal government to grant funds to refurbish the Hai Van Gate, and to complete the remaining construction works at the Hoa Xuan Stadium and the Hoa Xuan Sports Complex.
PC Chairman Huynh Duc Tho said that more local areas like the Hai Chau District’s Thuan Phuoc Ward, and the southeast side of the 2 September Peace Monument, will be designated for cultural establishments.
In addition, following recent approval from the municipal authorities, the city’s Cultural Centre will be moved to the International Exhibition Fair Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam, whilst the Museum of Da Nang will be relocated to the current headquarters of the municipal People’s Council at 42 Bach Dang.
