Some infrastructure facilities at the Port will be removed. The Port’s premises will be then handed over to the Sun Group. This area will be temporarily designated for the organisation of the upcoming Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2018 which will take place in the city from 30 April to 30 June.

Accordingly, the operation of local tourist boats at the Han River Port will be temporarily suspended from 9 - 11 April. The intention is to facilitate relevant local agencies to move equipment and tourist boats from the Han River Port to the former Song Thu (Thu River) Port.

Starting from 12 April, the former Song Thu Port, and a section of the Han River between the Song Thu Corporation and approach roads to the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, will be used temporarily for the anchoring and operation of tourist boats.

On 9 July, the boats will resume their normal operation at the Da Nang Port.
