4 distressed fishermen rescued at sea
Rescue ship SAR 412 from the Zone II Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (Da Nang MRCC) has safely brought back a total of 4 crew members who had been in danger at sea to the mainland.

Previously, at 8.00pm on Monday, fishing boat DNa 90765, with its crew of 4, from Son Tra District’s Nai Hien Dong Ward suddenly sank while fishing in the national waters, at about latitude 16°24’N and longitude 109°32’E
The 4 crewmembers clinked to a coracle to survive, but their health began to deteriorate after spending several hours in the sea without food and water, and this tough challenge drove all of them into panic.
Fortunately, fishermen onboard another local boat, coded DNa 90279 TS, operating nearby the scene, detected and managed to rescue the distressed victims.
After receiving an SOS message from the DNa 90279 TS, the Da Nang MRCC immediately sent out rescue ship SAR 412, carrying doctors from the city’s Emergency Centre 115, to help the victims, and it arrived at the scene at at 3.00pm on Tuesday.
Afterwards, the 4 victims were transferred from DNa 90279 TS to the rescue ship for first aid.
The distressed fishermen were safely were brought back to Da Nang for further treatment at around 8.15pm on the same day.
