The Da Nang authorities have imposed a fine of 120 million VND on the Lost And Found Pub at 28 Bach Dang in Hai Chau District for causing noise to nearby areas.

As reported earlier, around midnight on 12 March, reporter Hua Vinh Nhan from the city’s branch of Transportation Newspaper had visited the pub to report on the sidewalk encroachment and noise pollution at the venue. Mr Nhan had been confined to the club for 2 hours, and he had been assaulted by a group of people here.

Soon after the incident happened, municipal People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho asked local police force to conduct an investigation into the case. In the end, 31-year-old Tran Nguyen Dong Nghi who directly assaulted reporter Nhan was prosecuted for ‘intentionally causing injury to others’.
