Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Committee, a total of around 6.4 billion VND from the reserve fund of the city's Sustainable Development Project will be spent on building a pedestrian bridge crossing the Dien Bien Phu street at the eastern end of the Dien Bien Phu-Nguyen Tri Phuong tunnel.

In particular, the 3m-wide bridge boasts permanent structure, vertical clearance of 4.75 m, and operating pressure of 0.4 Mpa.

In addition, it features structural steel beams and flower parterres along the both sides, but there are no central columns and roof covers.
