City's hospital dedicated to provide best patient care
The Da Nang General Hospital now has a total of 1,450 medical workers, including 303 doctors. The majority of doctors are doctorate and postgraduate degree holders. Thanks to its high quality healthcare services and talented employees, the hospital has won trust of patients from the city and neighbouring localities.

Doctor Le Duc Nhan, the hospital’s Director, said that his hospital has become actively involved in participating in patriotic emulation movements, administrative reforms, and anti-corruption work. The intention is to create a professional working environment for the hospital’s medical staff, and provide better services for patients.
Following approval by the Da Nang People’s Committee, the number of patient beds at the hospital has been increased to 2,000 from 1,982. However, the hospital is also facing patient overload due to the growing demand of patients from other localities.
A relative of an elderly patient who is receiving medical treatment at the Elderly Care Ward said that the hospital has received an increasing number of elderly patients due to the heatwave over recent days. However, doctors and nurses show their enthusiastic attitude and friendly behaviour towards patients, and offer them the best possible treatment.
A patient from Thanh Khe District expressed his satisfaction with the hospital’s online registration system for medical examinations which has not yet to be deployed at other hospitals in the city to save the waiting time of patients.
Doctor Le Hong Hai, Head of the hospital’s Quality Management Office, remarked that many letterboxes and hotlines have been offered to receive feedback and comments from patients.
A recent survey conducted by the Ministry of Health shows that in the first quarter of this year, 95% of patients were satisfied with working attitude of the hospital’s leaders and its medical staff. Meanwhile, 96% of the medical staff showed their satisfaction with the hospital’s working environment, and its transparent and open policies.
