Donating materials worth 1.3 billion VND to poor rural areas
On Wednesday, the Hoi An South Development Company (HASD) and the VinaCapital Foundation (VCF) donated medical and educational equipment, totalling 1.3 billion VND (equivalent to nearly 50,000 USD), to Duy Hai and Duy Nghia communes in Quang Nam Province’s Duy Xuyen District.
In particular, the Duy Hai Commune Medical Centre received an ultrasound machine, an electrocardiogram machine, 10 stainless steel hospital beds, 10 hospital bedside cabinets, 3 medicine cabinets, a laptop, a projector and a projection screen.
Meanwhile, 20 computers went to the Ngo Quyen Junior High School in Duy Hai Commune, and 15 others were given to the Nguyen Van Troi Junior High School in Duy Nghia Commune.
In addition, some drinking water filter systems were donated to 4 kindergartens and primary schools in the 2 communes.
