According to a spokesperson for the Da Nang Department of Transport, all boats operating on the Han River must follow the instructions of relevant local agencies in order to ensure the inland waterway safety on 2 September.

In particular, between 7.30am and 5.00pm on 2 September, all vessels are restricted to operating on the river along the section between the Han River and Rong (Dragon) bridges in order to ensure the success of some cultural and sports activities on the river.
