Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Committee, nearly 5.4 billion VND from the city budget will be spent on floral displays for the next Tet Festival.  In 2019, the first day of the Lunar New Year is Tuesday 5 February.

The intention of the floral displays is to create beautiful and eye-catching sightseeing areas for local residents and visitors during the Lunar New Year Festival.

Accordingly, some of the city’s main areas will be decorated with colourful flower towers and pots. Included will be an area in front of the Administrative Centre, the street pavements opposite the buildings at 42- 44 and 72 Bach Dang, and the street pavements opposite the headquarters of the muncipal People’s Council.

In addition, colourful flowers will be decorated at the intersections of Nguyen Van Linh and Hoang Dieu streets, and Nguyen Huu Tho and Duy Tan streets, plus at a park on Hung Vuong Street, and the Pham van Dong coastal park.
