Born in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Son Commune, Long has gained excellent academic achievements in primary, junior and senior high schools.

Honourably, she was presented with Vallet scholarships in recognition of her excellent academic performance during 3 consecutive senior high school years.

With her great enthusiasm in studying and extracurricular activities, Long was admitted to the Party as she was only 18 years old.

After enrolling the city’s University of Economics, the girl decided to study the Major of Tourism because she wanted to become a tourism ambassador to introduce the beauty of her hometown to both domestic and foreign visitors.

During 4 years of university, Long has become actively involved in various social and summer volunteer activities in rural and remote mountainous areas in the city, and in some neighbouring localities.

In particular, the female student volunteer was actively engaged in helping residents in A Xan Commune, Tay Giang District, Quang Nam Province, as well as teaching children in Tam Hai Island Commune in the province’s Nui Thanh District.

“Such meaningful trips to poor mountainous areas help improve my life and teamwork skills, and raise my sense of responsibility for sharing love with other people in difficult circumstances”, she added.

For 2 consecutive years, Long has received the university-level ‘Students with Five Good Deeds’ award for her morals, studying, physical improvement, skills and active involvement in volunteer work.

Long has recently received the university and municipal-level ‘Outstanding Young People Follow Uncle Ho’s Teaching’ awards 2018, plus many other Certificates of Merit in recognition of her active involvement in social activities.
