On Sunday, police officers in Hoa Thuan Tay Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang, returned a dropped wallet to its owner, 30-year-old Nguyen Duc Manh from Vinh Phuc Province’s Song Lo District.

At around 0.15am on 3 November, an on-duty patrol team No 8394, headed by Captain Le Tat Thanh, founded a wallet dropped at the intersection of Nguyen Huu Tho and Nguyen Khoai streets. The men handheld wallet contained an iPhone 8 plus, 20 million VND in cash, and some important personal papers with the name of Nguyen Duc Manh.

Shortly after, the team members contacted Mr Manh to return the property. According to Mr Manh, he is working at a building about 300m away from the spot where his property was lost.
