Over the few coming days, Da Nang and elsewhere in the mid-central region are expected to brace for soaking rain and lower temperatures as a cold front from the northern part weakens, according to the Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.

Sunday evening into late Monday, Da Nang is expected to see moderate and heavy downpours, whilst scattered showers are possible over the subsequent day, Tuesday.

The lowest temperatures are set to hover at around 19 - 21 degrees Celsius, whilst the average humidity will stand around 79%.

In detail, the districts of Hoa Vang and Cam Le are likely to see the rainfall of between 40 and 80mm per day, and even over 100mm in some of their parts, with the temperatures plunging to as low as between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius, and north-easterly winds at level 3.

Likewise, the rainfall accumulation is expected to be widely 50 to 100mm, and even higher in the districts of Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son, whilst the amount of rain that falls on the districts of Lien Chieu, Thanh Khe and Hai Chau are much likely to range from 40 to 70mm.

In a similar vein, the Hoang Sa Islands District will experience smaller amounts, only between 20 and 40mm, with the temperatures standing at between 22 and 24 degrees Celsius, and north-easterly winds at levels 4-5.
