City braced for wet run into late Tuesday
Temperatures are now falling, whilst rain is still battering vast areas in Da Nang and elsewhere in the mid-central region as the cold air intensifies and spills into these localities, according to the Mid-Central Region Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting.
Da Nang is set to brace for moderate and heavy downpours into late Tuesday.
The lowest temperature of between 18-20 degrees Celsius are being recorded across the city, and even plummet more in its mountainous areas due to the cooling effect, with chilly mornings and nights.
Under the influence of the cold snap, north-northeastern winds level 3 are expected to appear in the mainland of the city, whilst winds levels 5-6, with a gust of level 7, and heavy rough seas are likely to be seen off the coast off the city.
North-easterly winds levels 6-7, with a gust of level 8, and very rough sea is reported off the Hoang Sa islands.
