The Da Nang People’s Committee has approved some activities at the Rong (Dragon) and Han River bridges over the upcoming Tet Festival which begins on 5 February.

The dragon’s head at the eastern end of the Rong Bridge will breathe fire and squirt water at 9.00pm each day between 3 and 6 February. These days are the 29^th of the 12^th lunar month to the 2^nd of the 1^st lunar month.

Meanwhile, the Han River Bridge will swing open from 11.00pm to midnight on 2, 3, 5 and 6 February.  These days are the 28^th and 29^th of the 12^th lunar month, and the 1^st and the 2^nd of the 1^st lunar month.

In addition, the municipal authorities will temporarily stop the granting of permits to any new local construction projects from 27 January to 14 February (the 22^nd of the 12^th lunar month to the 10^th of the 1^st lunar month).
