Vietnamese people applying for Schengen visas to Germany and Portugal will be able to apply via application centres of the VFS Global Company as of 20 February in Ha Noi and HCM City and 25 March in Da Nang.

Applicants can requests visas for a maximum of 90 days stay.

Appointments for visa application in Ha Noi and HCM City are open now, while in Da Nang applications open on 20 February.

Applications for visas for stays of more than 90 days, for example, for purposes of reunification, university study, work, babysitting or vocational training in Germany, must still be submitted directly at the institution’s German representatives.

For these types of visas, up to now, German representations have not yet worked with VFS Global. Applicants can still make an appointment on the website of the German representative offices in Viet Nam at www.vietnam.diplo.de.
