The Chairwoman of the Hoa Tho Tay Ward Women's Union in Cam Le District, Mrs Tran Thi Bich Lien, said her unit has acted as a bridge to connect its member Tran Thi Loc and the Sasaki Danimex Vietnam Industries Corporation (SADAVI) specialising in knitting fishing nets for exporting to Japan.

In addition, the Union’s chapter No 12 helped Mrs Loc with loans guarantee to enable her access credit, worth 50 million VND, from the district's branch of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in order to set up her own fishing net processing establishment.

Thanks to their hard-working spirit and a high level of proficiency, Mrs Loc and her employees have received many orders from the Sasaki Shoko Company in Quang Nam Province’s Dien Nam-Dien Ngoc Industrial Park in addition to SADAVI. Currently, a total of 15 women are working there with their stable monthly salary ranging from 3 to 3.5 million VND each.

Meanwhile, with her keen intelligence, creative thinking and strong determination, Mrs Phan Thi Tuyet, Vice Chairwoman of the Women's Union chapter No1 of the district’s Hoa Tho Tay Ward, has successfully developed a model of raising chickens, pigeons and bees.

Presently, she has a total of 150 pairs of parent pigeons providing their eggs and breeders. Moreover, she can earn around 100 million VND per year from raising honeybees.

The family of Mrs Tuyet is one of typical examples doing business well in the locality.

Chairwoman of the municipal Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thu Ha said in recent years, her unit and its all chapters have implemented many practical activities to help their members realise their feasible startup ideas.

Notable amongst them are the ‘Clean and Tidy’ industrial sanitation service, a ganoderma lucidum mushroom growing cooperative, flower and fruit growing cooperatives, and 195 dedicated fruit gardens with 10,820 fruit trees.

As a result, all the chapters have created job opportunities for 2,604 female workers, each of them enjoys a stable monthly salary of between 4 and 15 million VND.

Besides, training courses have been organised for 50 women who have startup ideas, as well as active support has been given to the development of 6 organic vegetable, flower and fruit growing models in 6 communes in Hoa Vang District.

The focus has been on organising 3 training courses on tree planting techniques and production processes for 150 members, and handing over 2,950 seedlings to 59 new gardens.

Also, the Union’s chapters across the city have helped 673 families with loans guarantees to enable them access credit, worth over 18.956 billion VND, from the city's branch of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) in order to develop their own businesses to increase their incomes.
