On Monday evening (30^th day of the 12^th lunar month), a large number of locals and visitors gathered at public areas across Da Nang to enjoy joyful and boisterous festive Tet atmosphere to celebrate the Lunar New Year's Eve.

The public areas include the Spring Flower Street, the 29 March and the APEC parks, plus Tran Hung Dao and Bach Dang streets.

The Bach Dang Flower Street is crowded with people to celebrate the Lunar New Year's Eve.

The Bach Dang Spring Flower Street has attracted a large number of people and they have become involved in taking photos to save their memorable moments with beautiful floral decorations.

Lunar New Year's Eve is the opportunity for people to get closer together.

It is also considered as a special time for family reunion.

Bach Dang Street and the eastern and western ends of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge are very attractive to both locals and visitors.

Some South Korean visitors are very eager to celebrate Lunar New Year's Eve in the city.

Thanks to the good weather, a large number of local residents have poured into streets to wait for the turning moment of the Lunar New Year.

 As waiting for the turning moment of the Lunar New Year, locals and visitors are treated to a fascinating musical programme entitled ‘Colours of Spring’.  

Organised by the Trung Vuong Theatre, the event is taking place at the park near the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge in Son Tra District from 9.30pm to midnight.

In addition, there will be a countdown event to ring in the Lunar New Year.

The event is organised by the Trung Vuong Theatre,

 On Lunar New Year’s Eve, the city’s skyline will be lit up with 3 spectacular fireworks displays to ring in the Lunar New Year.

The upcoming shows will be at the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, the Kim Long Nam Project’s vacant land area in front of the Lien Chieu District Administration Centre, and a vacant site in front of the Hoa Vang District Administration Centre.
